These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you and Dog Training At Home ("we," "us," or "our") and govern your access to and use of dogtrainingathome.us, our content, and all related products and services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are and What We Provide

Dog Training At Home provides AI-assisted, personalized dog training plans, an AI trainer chat, progress tracking, optional public dog profiles, and completion certificates. Our content is created using artificial intelligence based on the information you provide and is offered for general informational and educational purposes only. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use in connection with training your own dog(s).

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. When you create an account, you agree to:

• provide accurate, current, and complete information, and keep it up to date;
• keep your login credentials confidential and secure;
• accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account; and
• notify us promptly at info@dogtrainingathome.us of any unauthorized use.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including any passkeys or other authentication methods you enable.

3. AI-Generated Content; Not Professional Advice

Training plans, tips, and AI trainer chat responses are generated automatically and are not a substitute for professional advice from a licensed veterinarian, certified dog trainer, or certified animal behaviorist. AI content may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. You should always use your own judgment and knowledge of your individual dog. Please review our AI Training Disclaimer and Safety Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms. If your dog shows signs of aggression, illness, injury, pain, or distress, stop and consult a qualified professional immediately.

4. Assumption of Risk and Release

Dog training involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury to you, your dog, other animals, or other people, and the risk of property damage. You voluntarily assume all such risks. You are solely responsible for supervising all training, for your own safety and the safety of others, and for deciding whether any guidance is appropriate for your dog. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Dog Training At Home from any claims, injuries, losses, or damages arising out of or related to your use of, or reliance on, any training guidance obtained through the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service, or bypass usage limits or security measures;
• use automated means (scraping, bots) to access or copy content without our permission;
• upload content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, misleading, or that you do not have the right to submit; or
• misrepresent your identity or your relationship with any person or animal.

6. Dog Profiles and User Content

You may create dog profiles and choose to make them public, and you may submit photos, text, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and use that content as needed to operate and promote the Service. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right. We may remove, hide, or moderate any content, or restrict any profile, at our discretion — including pausing or removing profiles that violate these Terms or our guidelines.

7. Purchases, Pricing, and Billing

Prices, plan features, and billing terms are described at checkout and on our Pricing page, and may change over time. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor (Stripe); by purchasing, you also agree to their applicable terms. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

• One-time purchases (such as the Premium 30-Day Plan) are billed once and grant access to the associated plan.
• Memberships are recurring subscriptions that renew automatically each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes. If a payment fails, we may suspend or downgrade your access until the amount is paid.

8. Digital Delivery, Refunds, and Cancellation

Our plans are digital services that are generated and made available to your account immediately after purchase. By completing your purchase, you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that all sales are final and non-refundable once a plan has been created. You may cancel a monthly Membership at any time; cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep access through the end of your current paid billing period, with no partial or prorated refunds. 9. Certificates

Completion certificates recognize that a training program was completed through our platform. They are not professional accreditations, qualifications, or guarantees of a dog's behavior in any situation. Certificates include a verification code and may be checked on our Certificate Verification page. You agree not to alter, forge, or misuse certificates.

10. Intellectual Property, License, and Restrictions

All content, training plans, software, text, graphics, logos, and materials provided through the Service (excluding your User Content) are the exclusive property of Dog Training At Home or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use your plan solely for training your own dog(s). Reuse, reproduction, resale, sublicensing, sharing, publishing, or redistribution of any plan or its contents, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited. You may not sell, share, or otherwise make your plan available to any third party. Any violation may result in immediate termination of your account and may subject you to legal action.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service relies on and may link to third-party services (for example, payment processing, email delivery, AI providers, and hosting) and may contain affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, websites, or their content, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

12. Privacy and Cookies

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we collect, use, and protect your information.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that AI-generated content will be accurate or effective, or that any particular training result will be achieved.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dog Training At Home and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or any training guidance. In all cases, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US$50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dog Training At Home and its owners, employees, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel a subscription as described above. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — will survive.

17. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date shown on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at info@dogtrainingathome.us and attempt to resolve the matter informally. To the extent permitted by law, any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled on an individual basis, and you and we waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.

19. General

These Terms, together with the policies referenced in them, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
